Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Najm at najm.live. By using the service you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Account

• Sign-in is available via Google, or as an upgradable anonymous session.
• You are responsible for keeping your session secure and for activity on your account.
• Information you provide must be accurate and up to date.

3. Content you create

• You retain ownership of everything you write, create, or upload to the service.
• You grant Najm a non-exclusive, non-transferable operational license to process your content as necessary to operate the features: sending text to the AI model, storing results in your account, and displaying them to you.
• If you choose to publish an article or content to the Community board, you grant a public license to display the content via the service to other users.

4. Prohibited use

You may not:

• Generate illegal, harassing, or violence-inciting content, or content that targets minors in a harmful way.
• Impersonate others or imply a false affiliation with Najm.
• Attempt to circumvent service limits, perform large-scale automated extraction, or reverse-engineer the models.
• Distribute malware, run attacks that disrupt service availability, or send unsolicited messages.
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of others.

5. AI output

• The application generates responses, images, and audio via automated models. Results may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your context.
• Do not rely on outputs for medical, legal, or financial decisions without qualified human review.
• You are responsible for reviewing content before using or publishing it outside the application.

6. Service availability

We strive to keep the service available continuously, but it may be interrupted for operational reasons, maintenance, or circumstances beyond our control. The service is provided "as is" without express or implied warranties, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Modification and termination

• We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
• We may modify or discontinue features for technical or commercial reasons.
• You may terminate your account at any time from the Settings screen.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Najm shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the service. Total liability shall not exceed the amount you actually paid (if any) during the twelve months preceding your claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Najm against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of the service.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced inside the app, and continued use of the service after publication of the new version constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any dispute arising from them shall be resolved before its competent courts.
